Is this, to your knowledge, Elias McQuaid Senior, or Elias McQuaid Junior (Born 1917)?
Thanks!
Nick,
The entire article is located here with the photograph attached to Elias Sr.
This is Elias Sr 1917 or more likely before. He was a reporter for a NY or Boston paper when the Titanic sunk and because he had learned morse code when he was carrying telegram message in Manchester NH at a young age, he was able to get an exclusive .
He was much older than his wife Arethusa and she was born in 1888 – I think.
Ellen, This is indeed Elias Sr. The entire article is located here.
