Painting by Samuel and Ruth (Whittier) Shute

The Historic Middletown Museum in Middletown Kentucky has two paintings by Ruth (Whittier) Shute. They are “Portrait with Roses” the label that goes with this painting states – My Great Grandmother Ruth Whittier Tarbell Blankenbaker who is the daughter of the artist and the mother of Addie Mae Tarbell Blankenbaker Wetherby. The other portrait does not have a name but is identified. Contact me for information and a jpeg of the portraits.
